Baytree House is a beautiful large stone built period house set in the picturesque village of Sleights on the slopes of the Esk valley at the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors national park, yet only 2 miles from Whitby town centre.
The large bespoke country kitchen with spacious seating for 8 overlooks the private gardens and patio and is truly delightful .
We also offer a large dining room with seating for 8, for those cosy candlelit evenings and a warm welcoming lounge with gas fire and satellite TV.
For the children we have an Wii games console with various games, books, board games and DVD s. WiFi also available.
There are 5 bedrooms, 4 large double bedrooms are all stylishly furnished and decorated to a high standard plus there is a single room, set over 2 floors with a large family bathroom with bath and separate shower on the first floor and a large shower room with sink and toilet on the second floor. Z-bed 
available for the occasional extra guest, travel cot, stair gate and high chair also provided.
Bedlinen and towels provided.
Off road parking available for two cars.
The large enclosed garden and patio are very private with BBQ, garden furniture and sun loungers for those warm summer evenings.
Please note: Up to 2 pets allowed if bringing dogs then we would really appreciate the picking up of any “potty” accidents in the garden and refrain from allowing in the bedrooms.
Sleights is a peaceful village with local pub 2 mins away, bus stop and train station within a 1 min walk, taking you to Whitby and Scarborough etc… A local butchers, bakers and post office and spar supermarket approx. 10 min walk.
The house is available from 4pm on day of arrival and checkout is by 10am on day of departure.
Sleeps 6, Sleeps 7, Sleeps 8, Sleeps 9 or Sleeps 10 people in comfort.
We are a non-smoking establishment inside the house, but there is no problem anywhere else in the garden and patio area.

All prices are for the house and not per person.
Bookings generally start from a Friday for weekly and 3 day bookings and Monday for a 4 night stay.

£200 deposit is due on booking and the balance due two months before your holiday begins.
There is also a good housekeeping deposit of £200, which is paid with the balance two months prior to arrival and is repaid within a week of departure, providing the house is left in good order.
We will send you a booking form and Terms & Conditions which are to be signed and returned to us with cheque deposit.
